Start with an enquiry from your hotel

Bring dates, guests, accommodation and commercial terms. Prepare a second version with one missing detail: a useful demo shows how an enquiry is collected without inventing information. Identify who performs each step, from opening the opportunity to following up.

Separate drafts, delivery, holds and bookings

A draft can contain incomplete information. A quote presents a proposal; creating it does not prove delivery. A room hold follows its own conditions and expiry. A confirmed booking is a further state, and a physical room may still need assigning in the Planner.

• Inspect the availability and rate list used for the proposal.
• Change dates or occupancy and check how the terms are recalculated or reviewed.
• Verify the recipient, shared link and recorded delivery outcome.
• Try an expired hold and an unavailable option.

Check groups and follow-up

For a group, bring an incomplete participant list and inspect room blocks, cut-off dates and the rooming list. A deadline does not promise automatic conversion. Follow-up also depends on configured email or WhatsApp channels, rules and scheduled processing. Ask what staff must do when a channel is unavailable.
