Define what must move

Separate room types and rooms, future reservations, guest records, balances, documents and history. Each set can have a different format and purpose in the new system. Record its source, owner, quantity, export availability and acceptance check; share only necessary data through the agreed channel.

Test a sample before switching

Ask the supplier to check a representative export: multi-room bookings, different statuses, cancellations, deposits and accented characters. An exported file does not establish that every field can be imported. Lenzuoli migration formats, scope and assistance must be agreed with the team.

Check connections as well as files

OTA connections, payments, the website, email and operating procedures can need separate setup and credentials. Plan who checks each connection and when. Before reopening sales, verify room types, rooms, rates and mappings with the people responsible for those systems.

Agree a window and acceptance criteria

Decide when updates stop or are reconciled, who compares totals and what happens if the outcome is incomplete. Do not promise an uninterrupted transition before checking the systems involved.

• Compare booking counts by status and period.
• Inspect guests, rooms, dates and references for sample bookings.
• Reconcile balances and deposits within the agreed scope.
• Define historical access, assistance and post-transition responsibilities.
